Shetland Tourism Association are very pleased to announced the appointment of Nadine Samuel as the Development Officer for the next two years.
Nadine comes to the Association with a background in the hospitality industry having worked with Self-Catering Shetland for several years and had bar work experience in local premises.
With hands on experience of booking systems, guest welcome, property maintenance and preparation, Nadine understands every aspect of good accommodation provision. She also has past experience in social care and support settings, making her an ideal candidate for a post which requires attention to detail and someone who can communicate well with lots of people.
Nadine is excited to start the role and is looking forward to working with Shetland Tourism Association members.
Based at the VisitScotland iCentre at the Market Cross, Nadine will initially be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays for meetings, however can be contacted by email outside those times. Working hours may change through the year, but members will be updated as to when appointments are available.
Committee Representatives are also available throughout the year for members to discuss specific issues. All geographical and sector areas have a representative and the details of these will be added to the website shortly.
