We offer tours and tastings daily within the brewery and people can also sit in the newly renovated bar area to enjoy a few drinks and also browse our gift shop where all our beers are available to take away as well as other branded and made in Shetland products.
Launched in 2013, Lerwick Brewery began on the back of 3 brothers who, in their search for an alternative lager after becoming bored with the usual offerings, brewed our first ever batch of 60° North. The islands one-of-a-kind blend of mild winters and cool summers, clear water and crisp, fresh air has allowed us to develop a brew family of stand out beers - 60° North Lager, Skipper’s Ticket, Tushkar Oatmeal Stout, Lerwick IPA, Azure, Blindside Black IPA, and the list keeps growing with seasonal specials and one-off brews. Recent renovations to our premises have created a brand-new bar and tasting area, allowing us to welcome more visitors than ever to the brewery where our team would be delighted to take you on a tour, or if you prefer you can relax and browse our new shop and bar! Tours are led by one of our brewers and are available daily Monday to Friday and selected weekends. The tour includes a tasting of 3 of our beers.
